Roger Federer the eight-time champion was in superb form this afternoon to move into the third round of Wimbledon with a straight sets victory over Lukas Lacko the world number 73. Federer now 36, won the match 6-4 6-4 6-1 and did not face a single break point and hit 48 winners. Federer seeded one will now face German Jan-Lennard Struff who came through a five set match against big serving Ivo Karlovic.

Edmund & Konta Into Second Round At Wimbledon
The British number ones Kyle Edmund & Jo Konta both reached the second round at Wimbledon today with straight sets victories. Edmund the 21st seed won 6-2 6-3 7-5 against Australian Alex Bolt while Konta came through two tight sets 7-5 7-6 against Natalia Vikhlyantseva from Russia.
There were wins also today for the French Open champion Rafa Nadal & Novak Djokovic. Nadal won 6-3 6-3 6-2 against Dudi Sela from Israel while Djokovic beat American Tennys Sandgren 6-3 6-1 6-2.
Djokovic to Face Cilic in Queen’s Final
Novak Djokovic the former World number one reached his first final for a year by defeating Frenchman Jeremy Chardy 7-6 6-4 in the semi- final at the Queen’s Club championship yesterday. The Serb will now face big serving top seed Marin Cilic in this afternoons final who beat Australian Nick Kyrgios in two tight sets 7-6 7-6.
Murray Loses To Kyrgios On Return At Queen’s
Andy Murray lost to Nick Kyrgios this afternoon at Queen’s on his return to the tour after almost a year out with a hip injury. Murray now ranked 156th in the world was playing his first competitive match since losing at Wimbledon last year lost against the Australian 2-6 7-6 7-5 who is currently ranked 21 in the world rankings.

The British number one Kyle Edmund has been knocked out of the French Open this afternoon by Fabio Fognini in a five set encounter. Edmund who was aiming to reach the last 16 for the first time at Roland Garros was beaten 6-3 4-6 3-6 6-4 6-4. Fognini will now face third seed Marin Cilic who beat American Steve Johnson.
The defending champion and world number one Rafael Nadal eased into the last 16 with a straight sets victory over Frenchman & crowd favourite Richard Gasquet 6-3 6-2 6-2. Next for Nadal is unseeded German Maximilian Marterer.

Rafael Nadal has won his eight Italian Open this afternoon with a epic victory over Alexandra Zverev. Nadal won the first set 6-1 before the defending champion Zverev won nine of the next 11 games to take the second set and lead 3-2 in the decider.
