Roger Federer the defending champion has reached his 14th Swiss Indoors final in Basel with a straight sets victory over Daniil Medvedev this afternoon. Federer the world number three who has won the title eight times won the match 6-1 6-4 in 64 minutes. In the final tomorrow Federer will face world number 93 Marius Copil of Romania who beat second seed Alexandra Zverev of Germany 6-3 6-7 6-4.

Kyle Edmund Wins First ATP Title
The British number one Kyle Edmund shows tears of joy on court after winning his first ATP title in Antwerp. Edmund came through in three tight sets against colourful Frenchman Gael Monfils 3-6 7-6 7-6. There was also a fantastic victory for Stefanos Tsitspas the world number 16 and only 20 yrs of age who became the first Greek player to win an ATP title by beating Ernests Gulbis in straight sets 6-4 6-4 to be crowned the Stockholm Open champion.
Djokovic Wins Shanghai Masters Title
Novak Djokovic continued his fantastic form by beating Borna Coric this morning in the final of the Shanghai Master 1000 final. Djokovic was just to good and won the match in straight sets 6-3 6-4 in 97 minutes to claim his fourth Shanghai title. Djokovic has now won 18 consecutive matches since losing on August 10th at the Rogers Cup and tomorrow will replace Roger Federer as the World number two.
Federer Loses In Shanghai Masters Semi-Finals
Top seed Roger Federer has been knocked out of the Shanghai Master in the semi-final stages today by world number 19 Borna Coric from Croatia. Coric defeated Federer in straight sets 6-4 6-4 to reach his first Masters 1000 tournament final and will now face Djokovic who thrashed German Alexander Zverev 6-2 6-1 in just over an hour in the other semi-final. Djokovic now 31, is on a 17 match winning streak, a run that include titles at Cincinnati Masters and the US Open. The US Open and Wimbledon champion last lost a match in the Rogers Cup third round on August 10th.

The match saw some great high quality tennis from both players with Federer coming through 6-4 7-6 against the world number 12. Tomorrow Federer will face Borna Coric from Croatia for a place in Sunday Final.

The British number one Kyle Edmund is into the second round of the China Open after fighting back from a set down to beat World number 70 Peter Gojowczyk from Germany 3-6 6-1 6-2 in Beijing. There was an upset earlier today with seventh seed Borna Coric losing to Spanish wildcard Feliciano Lopez 7-5 5-7 7-5.
Kevin Anderson Beats Djokovic In Laver Cup
Big serving Kevin Anderson beat Novak Djokovic today in the Laver Cup to avenge his Wimbledon final defeat by the Serb. Anderson send down 17 aces on his way to winning 7-6 5-7 10-6. In the other singles matches Federer had a easy victory over Australian Nick Kyrgios 6-3 6-2 while Alexander Zverev had to save a match point against John Isner before coming through 3-6 7-6 10-7.
Great Britain Beat Uzbekistan In Davis Cup
Cameron Norrie sealed the victory for Great Britain this afternoon in their Davis Cup tie with Uzbekistan in Glasgow. Norrie won his singles in straight sets 6-2 6-2 6-0 against Sanjar Fayziev to give Great Britain a 3-1 victory which now will mean GB will seeded for the new event starting in February. Croatia reached the Davis Cup final in November with a 3-2 victory against United States today. Croatia began the day leading 2-1, but Sam Querrey beat Marin Cilic 6-7 7-6 6-3 6-4 to ensure a deciding rubber on the clay. Then Borna Coric beat Frances Tiafoe in a gruelling five set match 6-7 6-1 6-7 6-1 6-3 to win the tie and set up a final against France who overcame Spain yesterday.

Great Britain are 2-1 up in their Davis Cup tie with Uzbekistan after Jamie Murray and Dom Inglot came from a set down to beat Denis Istomin and Sanjar Fayziev 4-6 7-6 6-2 6-3. It now means Britain just need victory in one of the two singles rubbers tomorrow to win the best of five match tie. Victory would mean GB would be seeded in the revamped Davis Cup which is due to start in February. The defending champions France secured their place in the final this afternoon when Julien Benneteau and Nicholas Mahut beat Marcel Granollers and Feliciano Lopez 6-0 6-4 7-6 to wrap up the tie 3-0 against Spain. The the final they will face Croatia or United States in November.

The Great Britain team are level at 1-1 with Uzbekistan after the first day of the two singles matches of the Davis Cup tie in Glasgow. Dan Evans produced a great performance to beat Denis Istomin in five sets 7-6 4-6 0-6 6-4 7-5 earlier today while World number 70 Cameron Norrie lost his match from two sets up and having a match point against Jurabek Karimov the world number 434, the score 0-6 5-7 7-6 6-2 6-2. The tie continues tomorrow with a doubles match between Jamie Murray and Dom Inglot taking on Istomin and Sanjar Fayziev.
