World number one Novak Djokovic will meet Rafael Nadal in the last four of the Montreal Masters after destroying Richard Gasquet 6-1 6-3 in just over an hour. Nadal had a straight sets victory 6-2 6-4 against Australian qualifier Marinko Matosevic. This will be the 36th meeting between the two players, with Nadal winning the head to head 20 – 15.

Juan Martin Del Potro came from a set down to beat John Isner 3-6 6-1 6-2 to claim the Washington Citi Open title today. The victory was Del Potro third Washington crown after winning the title in 2008 and 2009. 

Juan Martin Del Potro the number one seed is into the semi-final of the Citi Open in Washington. Del Potro was in great form beating the big serving South African Kevin Anderson in straight sets 7-6 6-3. In the last four Del Potro will play inform Tommy Haas who beat Grigor Dimitrov 7-6 7-6.

Laura Robson was beaten easily by Petra Kvitova in straight sets 6-1 6-2 in the third round of the Southern California Open today.It was a disappointing performance by the young Brit who has risen from 53rd to 32nd in the world rankings recently.

Jamie Murray and his Australian partner John Peers have won the Swiss Open Doubles event in Gstaad. Murray and Peers the third seeds beat the unseeded duo from Spain Pablo Andujar and Guillermo Garcia-Lopez 6-3 6-4 in the final today. This was Jamie Murray ninth ATP doubles title of his career.

Marion Bartoli from France is the new ladies Wimbledon Champion after beating Sabine Lisicki from Germany in the final 6-1 6-4. Lisicki was very nervous being in her first Grand slam final and was 6-1 5-1 down before no time, there a mini fight back by Lisicki but Bartoli kept her cool and served out the match. This is Marion Bartoli first Grand Slam title.

Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic will play each other for the Wimbledon title on sunday after they both came through tough semi-final matches today. Murray beat the big serving Pole Jerzy Janowicz 6-7 6-4 6-4 6-3 after being 4-1 down in the third set when the match was poised at one set all. Djokovic had to battle it out on court for nearly five hours to beat Juan Martin del Potro in a five set classic 7-5 4-6 7-6 6-7 6-3.

Sabine Lisicki from Germany came through a great semi-final against the forth seed Agnieszka  Radwanska to book her place in saturday final. Lisicki came back from 3-0 down in the final set to win the match 6-4 2-6 9-7. In the final  Lisicki will play Marion Bartoli who destroyed Kirsten Flipkens 6-1 6-2 in the other semi-final today.

Andy Murray the British number one is into the four at Wimbledon after winning an epic against Fernando Verdasco on the centre court this evening. Murray had to fight back from two sets down before winning the match 4-6 3-6 6-1 6-4 7-5. In the semi-final Murray will face the big serving Pole Jerzy Jaznowicz who beat his fellow countryman Lukas Kubot in straight sets 7-5 6-4 6-4. The other semi-final will be between world number on Novak Djokovic and Juan Martin Del Potro.
