The Swiss number two Stanislas Wawrinka is into the semi-finals of the ATP World Finals. Wawrinka beat David Ferrer 6-7 6-4 6-1 this afternoon and then needed Nadal to beat Tomas Berdych in the final group A match. Nadal finally came through in a tough three set match 6-4 1-6 6-3. In group B the defending champion Novak Djokovic is already through to the semi- finals and will be joined by Juan Martin Del Potro or Roger Federer who play each other tomorrow afternoon.

Djokovic into semi-finals of World Tour Finals 2013
The current champion Novak Djokovic beat Juan Martin Del Potro in a tough three sets 6-3 3-6 6-3 to book his place in the semi-finals of the World Tour Finals. Djokovic extends his winning streak to 19 consecutive victories since losing to Nadal at the US Open in September. On Saturday Federer and Del Potro will play for the second Group B qualification place.
Wins for Nadal and Djokovic at Tour Finals
The world number one Rafael Nadal won his opening match of the O2 Masters with a stunning straight sets win against David Ferrer 6-3 6-2, only last week in Paris Ferrer beat Nadal in straight sets. If Nadal beats Stanislas Wawrinka this afternoon he will end the year as world number one. The current champion Novak Djokovic made a good start to the Tour Finals beating Roger Federer for the second time in three days 6-4 6-7 6-2.
Wawrinka and Del Potro win on Day 1 of World Tour Finals
The Swiss number two Stanislas Wawrinka won his opening match in group A of the ATP World Finals today against Tomas Berdych 6-3 6-7 6-3. It is the first year Wawrinka has qualified for the event. There was also a victory tonight for Juan Martin Del Potro in group B defeating Frenchman Richard Gasquet 6-7 6-3 7-5.
Djokovic wins Paris Masters
The world number two Novak Djokovic has won the Paris Masters today with a straight sets victory 7-5 7-5 over defending champion David Ferrer. Ferrer had his chances and served for both sets at 5-4 but Djokovic was to good when it counted. They will face each other again in the group stages at the O2 end of the year masters this week in London.
Ferrer plays Djokovic in Final of Paris Masters
The defending champion David Ferrer shocked the world number one Rafael Nadal with a 6-3 7-5 victory to set up a final with Novak Djokovic at the Paris Masters. This was Ferrer first win in 10 meetings against Nadal. Earlier in the afternoon Djokovic booked his place in the final with a 4-6 6-3 6-2 victory against Roger Federer.
Federer to meet Djokovic in semi at Paris Masters
Roger Federer will face Novak Djokovic the world number two in the semi-finals of the Paris Masters tomorrow. Federer won his last eight match against Juan Martin del Potro of Argentina 6-3 4-6 6-3. While Djokovic had a straight forward win over Stanislas Wawrinka 6-1 6-4. In the other half of the draw world number one Rafael Nadal moved into the last four with a victory against Richard Gasquet 6-4 6-1 and will face the winner of David Ferrer and Tomas Berdych.

Novak Djokovic has beat the new world number one Rafael Nadal 6-3 6-4 to win the China Open. Nadal failed to earn a break point as his run of 21 matches unbeaten came to an end in Beijing.

On Monday Rafael Nadal will become the new world number one after reaching the final of the China Open. Nadal was 4-2 up in the first set against Tomas Berdych when his Czech opponent retired with a back injury. Nadal will face current world number one Novak Djokovic in tomorrow final. Djokovic beat Richard Gasquet 6-4 6-2 in his semi-final.
