Andy Murray has reached the Australian Open final with a five set victory over Roger Federer 6-4 6-7 6-3 6-7 6-2 which took four hours under the lights on the Rod Laver Arena. For Murray to capture a second Grand Slam title he will have to beat world number one Novak Djokovic who was in great form beating David Ferrer in straight sets in the other semi – final.

Sharapova knocked out of Australian Open 2013
Li Na from China has advanced to the final of the Australian Open by thrashing Maria Sharapova 6-2 6-2. Li Na will now be hoping to go one step further than she did in 2011 when losing to Clijsters in the final. The final will be against defending champion Victoria Azarenka who overcame American young sensation Sloane Stephens 6-1 6-4 in the other semi – final.
Novak destroys Ferrer to reach Australian Open final
The world number 1 Novak Djokovic has reached the Australian Open final after a one hour and 29 minutes demolition of David Ferrer of Spain 6-2 6-2 6-1 . Djokovic still stays on track to capture three straight Australian Open titles. In the final Novak will play the winner between Andy Murray and Roger Federer.
Murray into Semi – Final at Australian Open
Andy Murray has reached his twelve straight Grand Slam semi- final in a row with a victory over Frenchman Jeremy Chardy 6-4 6-1 6-2. Murray has not dropped a set so far and will play his fourth consecutive semi – final at the Australian Open against the winner of Federer and Tsonga for a place in the final.
Novak into last four at Australian Open
World number 1 and defending champion Novak Djokovic has moved into the semi-finals of the Australian Open with a victory over Tomas Berdych 6-1 4-6 6-1 6-4. Djokovic will now play fourth seed David Ferrer who came back from two sets down to beat fellow countryman Nicolas Almagro 4-6 4-6 7-5 7-6 6-2.
Federer into Australian Open Quarter Finals
World number 2 Roger Federer was in great form beating big serving Milos Raonic in straight sets 6-4 7-6 6-2 to book his place in the quarter final. Federer will now face Frenchman Jo Wilfried Tsonga who beat fellow countryman Richard Gasquet 6-4 3-6 6-3 6-2. Tsonga made it two Frenchman into the last eight with Jeremy Chardy defeating Italian Andreas Seppi 5-7 6-3 6-2 6-2.

Andy Murray sails through to the last eight at the Australian Open. Murray is still to drop a set at the championship defeating Gilles Simon today 6-3 6-1 6-3. Murray will now play Frenchman Jeremy Chardy.
Djokovic through to last eight at Australian Open
The best match of the Australian Open Grand Slam 2013 so far, saw world number one Novak Djokovic beat Stanislas Wawrinka in a five-hour epic. At one stage Novak was 6-1 4-1 down, he staged a great fight back winning 1-6 7-5 6-4 6-7 12-10. In the quarter-final Djokovic will play Tomas Berdych.
Federer into fourth round at Australian Open 2013
World number 2 Roger Federer defeated local favourite Bernard Tomic 6-4 7-6 6-1 at the Australian Open. Federer will now play another young gun 13th seeded Milos Raonic in round four. There was an epic five set battle between Gilles Simon and Gael Monfils, with Simon winning 6-4 6-4 4-6 1-6 8-6. Simon will now play Andy Murray for a place in the last eight.

Andy Murray the world number 3 has moved into the last 16 of the Australian Open with a win over Ricardas Berankis of Lithuania 6-3 6-4 7-5. Murray next opponent will be a Frenchman, either Gael Monfils or Gilles Simon. There was a shock defeat for Juan Martin Del Potro losing to Jeremy Chardy in five sets. Murray and Del Potro were on course to meet in the last eight. Laura Robson run has come to an end, the young Brit losing to American Sloane Stephens 7-5 6-3.
