Djokovic To Meet Zverev In Final Of ATP Finals

The world number one Novak Djokovic was on fantastic form this evening to progress to the final of the end of season ATP Finals in London with a straight sets victory over Kevin Anderson. Djokovic the 14 time Grand Slam champion has not dropped a set all week won the match 6-2 6-2 and will face Alexander Zverev in tomorrows final. Zverev won his semi-final earlier today against crowd favourite Roger Federer 7-5 7-6.

Federer Through to ATP Semi-Finals

The six-time champion Roger Federer has secured his place in the semi-finals of the ATP Finals in London for the 15th time this evening with a straight sets victory over Kevin Anderson. Federer was just to good for the big serving South African winning the match 6-4 6-3 and the victory means he tops the group to boost his chances of avoiding the World number one Novak Djokovic in the last four. There was good news for British fans with Jamie Murray and Brazilian partner Bruno Soares winning all their three group matches with another good win today over Henri Kontinen and John Peers 3-6 7-6 10-3.

Djokovic Through To ATP Semi-Finals

The World number on Novak Djokovic beat German Alexander Zverev in straight sets 6-4 6-1 this afternoon to become the first man to reach the semi-finals of the ATP Finals in London. This evening Marin Cilic defeated American John Isner 6-7 6-3 6-4. On friday Isner faces Zverev while Cilic will play Djokovic with one other semi-final place at stake.

Wins For Federer & Anderson At ATP Finals

Roger Federer kept his hopes alive to reach the semi-finals of the end of season ATP Finals in London this evening with a straight sets victory over Dominic Thiem. Federer the six-time champion won the match 6-2 6-3 with a solid performance after his shock defeat to Kei Nishikori on Sunday which was full of unforced errors. Next for Federer on Thursday is Kevin Anderson who thrashed Nishikori this afternoon 6-0 6-1.

Federer Loses First Match at ATP Finals

Roger Federer has lost his opening group match at the ATP Finals in London this evening to Japan’s Kei Nishikori. Federer chasing a 100th career title at the end of season tournament, lost in straight sets 7-6 6-4 to the world number nine. Earlier this afternoon big serving South African and current world number six Kevin Anderson made a superb start to his ATP Finals beating Dominic Thiem 6-3 7-6. The world number one Novak Djokovic opens his campaign tomorrow evening against American John Isner.

Khachanov Wins Paris Masters

Karen Khachanov from Russia has defeated the world number one Novak Djokovic in straight sets to win the Paris Masters title this afternoon. Khachanov the world number 18, won the match 7-5 6-4 to claim his first ATP Masters title and ends Djokovic 22 match unbeaten run. Khachanov tomorrow will become the world number 11 and is the first Russian player since Nikolay Davydenko in 2009 to win a Masters 1000 title.

Djokovic Beats Federer In Paris Masters

Novak Djokovic has beat Roger Federer in an epic tight three set match at the Paris Masters this afternoon. Djokovic who is now unbeaten in 22 matches, won the semi-final 7-6 5-7 7-6 and will return to world number one on Monday. Tomorrow in the final Novak will face Russian Karen Khachanov who defeated Dominic Thiem in straight sets 6-4 6-1 in the other semi-final, if victorious the Serbian will draw level with Spain’s Rafael Nadal on 33 career Masters titles.

Federer Into Swiss Indoor Final In Basel

Roger Federer the defending champion has reached his 14th Swiss Indoors final in Basel with a straight sets victory over Daniil Medvedev this afternoon. Federer the world number three who has won the title eight times won the match 6-1 6-4 in 64 minutes. In the final tomorrow Federer will face world number 93 Marius Copil of Romania who beat second seed Alexandra Zverev of Germany 6-3 6-7 6-4.
