Naomi Osaka has become the first Japanese person to win a Grand Slam title with a straight sets victory over Serena Williams. The 20th seed Osaka won the match 6-2 6-4 after an angry Williams accused the umpire of being a “thief” in some dramatic scenes ever seen in a Grand Slam final.
