The British Number 2 Kyle Edmund has just missed out on his first ATP final as third seed Frenchman Richard Gasquet fought back to win their semi-final in Antwerp 3-6 7-5 6-2. Edmund led by a set and 4-2 but could not close out the match. On Monday he is still set to break into the top 40 in the world rankings for the first time.
This makes the Englishman along with Alexander Zverev from Germany and Australian Nick Kyrgios the only players aged 21 or under that are within the top 40 in the ATP world rankings.
